We performed a “Customer Service Management (CRM) implementation and customer loyalty training” for Hyundai Auto Beograd. My next car is going to be Hyundai, mostly because of the wonderful people behind their operation in Belgrade. Such a serious commitment to great customer service.
Again I was in Smederevo performing a new training “Increasing sales with market research” training, for Regional Chambers of Commerce Smederevo, under Project PLATO Serbia. European network PLATO was created in the nineties in Belgium and today it connects over 8500 SME-s.

Today I have had an extraordinary experience. I have attended the sales seminar here in Belgrade by one of the greatest sales gurus in the world Tom Hopkins. It was way beyond my wildest expectations. The greatest salesman in the world (sold 365 homes in 1 year) “walked the talk” and proved his reputation as the greatest sales practitioner. It was a day to remember for me and other delighted participants.
Today I was at the gathering of bloggers (Serbian blogosphere) together with people from Toshiba company. We were talking with Mr. Adrijan Vazdar, Business Manager, Adriatic region. First hand we were able to hear about their new and innovative campaign “No matter What Guarantee” in Serbia. The campaign was promoted on blogosphere (web site www.garancijabezobzira.rs) We all know about “Toshiba Leading Innovation” tagline, and assumed it applies to technological innovation only. After learning about “No matter What Guarantee” campaign in Serbia, I can say Toshiba is also leading innovation in the field of sales and marketing. As my Hawaiian friends used to say, don’t only talk “The customer first“, but “Walk the talk”, and Toshiba does it.
Today I had a great time with students from AIESEC Belgrade Economic Faculty organization. As part of their “Marketing Focus” conference, I held interactive workshop on “Customer Service”. I don’t worry about future of Serbia, these young people will make our future.
VEZA d.o.o. has acquired a new partner, Smart Sales Consulting from Sarajevo. They have invited me to perform “Key account management training” together (for their client) and on Thursday I was in Sarajevo. I had a wonderful time and as Rick said in Casablanca, this could be “the beginning of a beautiful friendship” (partnership). I am looking forward to be back in Sarajevo soon.
I was attending one day seminar “How to motivate employees without money?”, held by professor Randy Richards form St. Ambrose University in Iowa. The seminar was organized by Mate d.o.o. and provided wealth of valuable knowledge and experience. Professor Randy Richards was the business leader and consultant for many years so his interactive training made me gain clarity on the very important subject of motivation (selling is 90% motivation and only 10% technique). It was great and unforgettable experience.

Today we held the first regular assembly of our Association of Management Consultants of Serbia (Udruzenje Poslovnih Konsultanata Srbije - UPKS). For the second time I was elected as member of the board of directors.

Last weekend we had a great learning experience with InnoGroup company employees from Belgrade. We have performed our “Customer service training” but we also did a training module on LEAN and KAIZEN methodology. It was all good time.
For almost one hour I was a guest at Kopernikus TV show “In-Life” with my friend and strategic partner Tijana Sekulic from AT House company. We had a great opportunity to talk about our companies, about our work and our friendship, and at the same time we have had a great time at the show.

Day before New Year my dear friends from Cromer Group have organized great meeting and diner for all of their partners and associates. We have enjoyed a great time together.
The first day of New Year temperature was 15 degrees Celsius and I was at ADA riding a bicycle. What a great way to start in 2010.
We held two day public training “Sales and selling strategy” in Macedonia organized by Kapital Media Group in Skopje. The people were just great, Skopje is a beautiful city, Kapital Media is a great host, all in all we had wonderful time.
This week we had wonderful training experience in VIP mobile Serbia in Belgrade where we performed “Telephone Debt Collection training” for their collections department. Working with these wonderful enthusiastic young people, we have enjoined the interactive workshops we have performed together. It was like the best theater you can imagine (and a great learning experience).
New revolutionary search engine WOWD introduced on October 20th at Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, was presented in Belgrade on press conference on November 6th. I can say with great pride that I have been one out of a few dozen people who were working in Serbia to make that great project possible. My contribution was modest, regarding initial web content and communication messages, but never the less I feel grateful for the chance to be part of it.

It is revolutionary P2P (distributed index) search architecture and it offers fresher, deeper and more relevant search. At “FON” Belgrade Faculty for Organizational Sciences, there was an international meeting of foreign technical students “What World Wants? WWW Marketing!”. As part of their educational program, I have held a training in English language on “Innovation on the Internet” for the group of students from at least a dozen European countries. It felt so good speaking English continuously for some time, it reminded me of my previous life in the USA.
